2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is all about safety and comfort. The '07 E-Class introduced many of the safety features which were previously only offered in the Mercedes S-Class models.

One of these safety features is the Pre-Safe collision mitigation system. What this means is that, if the radar senses the danger of a collision, Pre-Safe causes the seatbelts to clinch It can even alter the position of the passenger seat in front, so the passenger will get the most out of the seatbelt.

In addition to that, the front of the car boasts both dual-stage airbags and side-impact airbags, the latter of which are also housed in the side doors. As for the side windows, those offer curtain-type airbags.

The 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class models also feature antilock brakes and Brake Assist, an electronic stability system and cruise control which is based on radar.

These models also feature a brake light which will flash if there is any panic braking. The purpose of this flashing is that the flashing lights will attract the driver’s attention faster. There is also a Tele Aid feature, which can contact authorities and send them to the car and driver’s location, just in case there is an accident.
